  • Take advantage of pre-conditioning: always use your car’s built-in navigation system and set the charging station as your destination. This way, the car will automatically heat or cool the battery during the trip, ensuring that the battery cells are at the perfect temperature for maximum charging speed by the time you arrive at the charging station.
  • If your battery is “low,” don’t stop to recharge if you still have 60% battery life—unless it’s absolutely necessary to reach your destination. You’ll achieve maximum speed by plugging in the cable when your battery is below 20%.
