Powy and IGD Siiq: an agreement to promote electric mobility and the installation of charging stations in select shopping centers

Milan, July 27, 2026 – Powy, a company that owns, develops, and operates Italy’s leading independent network of public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, and IGD – Immobiliare Grande Distribuzione SIIQ S.p.A., one of Italy’s leading real estate operators in the retail sector specializing in shopping centers and listed on the STAR segment of Borsa Italiana, have signed an agreement to install new electric vehicle charging stations at shopping centers owned by IGD.

The new infrastructure will be rolled out gradually throughout 2026, starting with the first installation inaugurated in April at the Maremà Center in Grosseto. This initiative represents a concrete step toward promoting electric mobility and adopting sustainable solutions, offering users the ability to quickly charge their vehicles using energy derived 100% from renewable sources. The plan also calls for expanding the infrastructure with new installations at various locations throughout the country.

The charging stations will be equipped with advanced technology and offer various charging capacities, ensuring an efficient and accessible service for everyone. Customers will be able to use the charging stations in a variety of ways, including through the “Powy Charge” app, which allows them to easily locate available stations, monitor the charging status, and complete payment simply and securely.
