Powy and Assopetroli-Assoenergia renew collaboration on electric mobility
Sept. 25, 2024 - Powy, a company specializing in the development and management of a public charging infrastructure network for electric vehicles, has announced the renewal of its partnership with Assopetroli-Assoenergia, a leading association for companies in the oil and energy sector. The partnership, which was launched in 2022 with the aim of promoting the provision of ultrafast charging service at gas stations, has been well received by members and customers, prompting both entities to continue this important development path.
Among the most notable collaboration agreements are those with APSA - Al Risparmio and Cancellieri Carburanti, which led to the installation of three charging stations in Veneto (in Verona and province) and two in Lazio (in Viterbo and Tarquinia), respectively.
"We are extremely pleased with the results achieved so far through our collaboration with Powy. The charging solutions installed at our stations have not only enriched the offering for our customers, but also avoided invasive work that could have limited our operations. This allowed us to introduce the service quickly and without disruption." - says Emanuel Baldo, Commercial Director of APSA Ltd. - Fuel Distributors At Saving.
"The collaboration with Powy has enabled us to respond promptly to the demand for electric mobility, thanks to a quick installation and an aesthetically appealing layout. In addition, the influx of new customers generated by the charging apps has brought significant added value to our service stations."-adds Filippo Cancellieri, Commercial Director of C & C Petroli Srl - Cp Oil.
The renewal of the agreement comes in a particularly favorable context for the sector: thanks to the release of PNRR funds earmarked for the expansion of charging infrastructure, with priority given to fuel stations, service stations are becoming increasingly central in the construction of a nationwide electric vehicle charging network , confirming themselves as strategic points for the future of sustainable transport in Italy.
Furthermore, the collaboration allows us to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the Fuel Decree, currently under discussion, which provides incentives for the redevelopment of distribution stations through the installation of Charging Stations . Each operator will be eligible for a grant of up to €60,000 for investments in this area, further facilitating the transition to sustainable mobility. In this context, Powy works alongside its partners in all aspects of logistics, organization, and infrastructure maintenance, as well as customer service management.
"Our partnership with Assopetroli-Assoenergia is key to the creation of win-win collaborations between Associates and Powy, fostering the spread of charging infrastructure in Italy. Thanks to the PNRR funds, the new investment sharing model and the fuel distribution network bill that we trust will be approved soon, we continue to work for an ever-increasing diffusion of electric mobility, helping fuel stations become a reference point for EVs as well," - comments Costantino Fassino, Chief Business Development and Sales Officer of Powy.
"The renewal of this partnership is crucial to continue building an efficient charging infrastructure system in Italy. Service stations, which are already widely present throughout the territory, can become strategic points for electric mobility, thus contributing to a sustainable energy transition," - said Sebastiano Gallitelli, secretary general of Assopetroli - Assoenergia.
