July 22, 2024 - Powy, a company specializing in the development and management of public charging infrastructures for electric vehicles, welcomes summer tourism to Italy by forging a partnership with the administrations of Sauze D'Oulx and Sestriere, the highest municipality in Italy (2,035 meters above sea level), which are part of the Via Lattea tourist area.
In Sestriere, two ultrafast charging stations for electric vehicles have been installed, located in Via Monterotta and Piazza Agnelli, for a total of 4 charging points. In Sauze d'Oulx, one ultrafast and one quick station have been installed in Viale Genevris and Viale Miramonti, for a total of 4 charging points. The stations are located at focal points for citizens and visitors.
These two renowned tourist resorts, are located in a premier tourist area that attracts nearly one million tourists each year.
Powy, present in more than 60 Italian municipalities with more than 2,000 charging points (between activated and in the process of installation), will thus contribute to offering an additional service to Italian and foreign tourists stopping in the upper Susa Valley, who will not have to worry about the autonomy of their electric vehicle and will be able to explore the area in peace.
The strategic location of the columns will also allow visitors and tourists to charge their electric vehicles conveniently and efficiently.
