December 15, 2025Powy, the company that owns, develops, and operates Italy’s leading independent network of public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, welcomes the winter season in Italy with anew agreement with the Municipality of Pinzolo, bringing electric charging to the Brenta Dolomites (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), serving Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo.

InMadonna di Campiglio, one of Italy’s most prestigious Alpine destinations, there are twoPowy charging stations on Viale Dolomiti di Brenta. In Pinzolo, two additional charging stations are located on Via Roma, at the corner of Viale Vittorio Veneto.

Both stations are located in areas that are easily accessible to both residents and visitors. In addition, the two charging stations are equipped with innovativesystems that detect whether a charging spot is occupied orbeing used illegally, and such violations will be penalized. An additional DC charging station will be installed at the end of the winter season in Madonna di Campiglio, in Piazza Brenta Alta.

The choice of these locations is no coincidence: during the 2024–2025 winter season, the Madonna di Campiglio–Pinzolo ski area, together with Val Rendena, the central Giudicarie, and Valle del Chiese, accountedfor 61.8% of Trentino’s winter overnight stays, confirming the area’s status as one of the most attractive Alpine destinations (ISPAT 2025 data).

With over 2,200 charging stations—both operational and currently being installed—in dozens of Italian municipalities,Powy nowPowy an additional service to tourists visiting the Brenta Dolomites. Visitors can explore the area without worrying about their vehicle’s range, charging withenergy sourced 100% from renewable sources.

“Our partnership with the Municipality of Pinzolo allows us to cover a ski area that is a major and prestigious destination for winter tourism,”says Federico Fea, CEO and co-founder ofPowy. “Following Sestriere and Sauze d’Oulx, Madonna di Campiglio expands our coverage in Alpine resorts, enhancing the offering for those who choose the mountains and making the area even more attractive to that growing segment of tourists—both Italian and international—who travel by electric vehicle.”

“The municipal administration of Pinzolo, recognizing the importance of local infrastructure for electric vehicles today, sought to implement a project that puts people, rather than objects, at the center,”stated Giuseppe Corradini, Councilor for Tourism for the Municipality of Pinzolo–Madonna di Campiglio–S. Antonio di Mavignola. “Our collaboration withPowy has allowedPowy to embark on a virtuous path, where the necessary waiting times for recharging one’s vehicle can become precious moments to devote to oneself. In fact, the selection of locations was designed with the aim of pairing charging stations with recent installations created to promote the physical and mental well-being of guests and residents, such as the calisthenics park on Viale Dolomiti in Campiglio. We are confident thatPowy to be a valuable partner with whom we can embark on this ambitious journey that will see our towns transform into major wellness hubs.”
