Powy joins ALIS to promote sustainable mobility in logistics and freight transport

Powy, a company active in the development and management of public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, has joined the network of ALIS (Sustainable Intermodal Logistics Association), a reference association reality for the entire logistics, transportation and business services sector in Italy and Europe. 

The collaboration stems from theneed topromote the adoption of electric vehicles by businesses and individuals, invest in research and development of charging infrastructure, and raise awareness of the benefits of sustainable mobility.  

The logistics sector in Italy today represents one of the fundamental pillars of the national economy, with an estimated market value growing steadily in recent years. Thanks to its port, airport and rail infrastructure, Italy is positioned as a strategic hub for international trade, facilitating the movement of goods between Europe, Asia and Africa. For this reason, Powy wanted to offer itself as a useful tool to encourage the transition to electric power, both because of the relevance this sector has in the Italian economy and because of a concrete market need. Not only that, the company has developed dedicated offerings for logistics fleets also capable of zeroing capital investment in infrastructure.

Powy has reached an important milestone by joining the ALIS network, along with other existing electric mobility operators. The company aims to expand its network throughout Italy and, to date, has more than 2,000 charging points (between active and installed) in more than 60 municipalities.
