Turin, June 10, 2026 – Powy, a company that owns, develops, and operates Italy’s leading independent network of public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, announces its first acquisition: 100% of RAW Charging Network (Italy) S.r.l., a wholly owned subsidiary of RAW Charging Network Limited (UK), a European operator with infrastructure installed at retail, leisure, and hospitality locations. The transaction marks the start of a new phase for Powy, which aims to further accelerate the development of its network by complementing organic growth with external expansion opportunities through selective acquisitions.

In this transaction, Powy advised by Fieldfisher on legal matters and by Studio Peyron on tax and corporate matters.
McArthurGlen is the leading developer and operator of Designer Outlet Villages in Europe, with 22 locations in 8 countries. Its Italian outlets feature premium and luxury brands such as Gucci, Fendi, and Salvatore Ferragamo, attracting visitors from around the world. Promos has managed the Barberino Outlet in Tuscany since July 2024 and operates a portfolio of six outlet centers in Italy. Both partners share Powy to prime, high-traffic locations where the quality of the visitor experience is paramount—an alignment that makes this partnership a natural fit and one that is poised for growth.
The five locations and the new charging stations
With this acquisition, Powy the owner and operator of 136 charging stations already in operation, to which two new DC charging stations— DC as part of the transaction—are immediately added, for a total of 138 stations distributed across five facilities: Serravalle Designer Outlet in Piedmont, Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet in Veneto, Castel Romano Designer Outlet in Lazio and La Reggia Designer Outlet in Campania (all McArthurGlen), and Barberino Outlet in Tuscany (Promos). Powy fully Powy the charging stations with its own standard models and implement Dynamic Load Management (DLM) for advanced and optimized management of the available power across the charging stations.
The five locations attract a total of over 20 million visitors each year. The charging stations at these outlets recorded approximately 29,000 charging sessions in 2025, helping to save over 334 metric tons of CO₂ over the course of a year, confirming that these destinations are ideal locations for high-quality public charging.
In the coming months, Powy to make its stations more recognizable and easier to find through a rebranding plan and the creation of dedicated visual pathways designed to streamline the charging experience for visitors and make it even more convenient.
A Market That's Gaining Momentum
Large retail and destination hubs are becoming increasingly strategic hubs for public charging, thanks to high visitor traffic and dwell times that align with charging needs. In Italy, the number of public charging stations exceeded 73,000 in 2025, while electric vehicle sales grew by 50% in the first quarter compared to the previous year (Motus-E data): this rapidly expanding demand makes high-traffic locations—such as outlet malls—increasingly essential charging points for EV users.
Commenting on the transaction, Federico Fea, CEO and Co-founder of Powy, stated: “With this first transaction, we are ushering in a new phase of growth—including through targeted acquisitions—which complements our organic growth engine, which has been a source of continuous satisfaction for years. We are delighted to partner with leading companies such as McArthurGlen and Promos, with whom we have developed a major investment plan aimed at further enhancing the customer experience with new fast and ultra-fast charging infrastructure.”
