The first activations are underway following the agreement between Powy, a provider of innovative electric vehicle charging systems, and the Retail Development Solution team of CBRE, the world's leading real estate consultancy, for the electrification of at least 6 shopping centers spread across the country, from North to South Italy.
The first activation was carried out at the parking lot of La Cittadella shopping center in Casale Monferrato, in the province of Alessandria, to be followed by other activations at:
- The Two Valleys in Pinerolo (TO);
- Campo dei Fiori in Gavirate (VA);
- Borgo Mercato in Borgo San Dalmazzo (CN);
- Mongolfiera Grand Shopping in Molfetta (BA)
In addition to these facilities, there is also a Fast charging infrastructure at Il Gallo Shopping Center in Galliate (NO), again under the supervision of CBRE's Retail Development Solution team, but where the agreement in place is between Powy and the Public Administration.
The new electric charging points will make it possible to offer an efficient service that meets the diverse needs of both customers who visit La Cittadella Shopping Center and the passing public. There will be two types of chargers available: AC Quick Charge for charging up to 22 kW of power, for all customers who plan to stay in the Mall for more than an hour, and DC Fast Charge chargers for powers up to 100 kW - that are able to charge the vehicle quickly during short stops. Charging points will be available 24/7, allowing charging to the public even at night.

The six charging points at La Cittadella Shopping Center are powered by 100% certified renewable energy and are part of the public electric vehicle charging network that Powy is building in partnership with the Stellantis Group. As with the entire network, these points are available for charging all electric vehicles and will provide exclusive conditions for Stellantis vehicle owners.
