The need
Zafiro Hotels recognized the importance of taking a step toward sustainability by integrating electric vehicle charging stations into its properties on the island of Mallorca. With the growing number of electric cars in Europe and an increasing demand for sustainable travel, the group felt it was essential to offer electric mobility services, in line with the brand's values and enhancing the experience of guests, who are increasingly focused on environmentally friendly means of transportation.
The solution
To meet the growing demand for sustainable mobility, Zafiro Hotels decided to partner with Powy to install and manage electric vehicle charging stations. Each location was equipped with two strategically placed fast charging stations:
- Zafiro Mallorca: Avenida St Eulalia Oest, 10, 07458 Can Picafort (2 AC charging points)
- Zafiro Cala Mesquida: Via Silvana, s/n, 07580 Cala Mesquida (2 AC charging points)
- Zafiro Menorca: Carrer Llevant, s/n, 07760 Cala en Bosc (2 AC charging points)
- Zafiro Palmanova: Avenida Cas Saboners, 7, 07181 Palmanova (3 AC charging points)
These charging stations allow guests to enjoy a convenient and comfortable experience, enabling them to charge their vehicles during their stay and thus promoting more environmentally conscious tourism on the island.
