With its network of over 100 Parking Hubs in 70 Italian cities, the company is rethinking parking with additional services such as electric charging stations, fast payment systems, and shared mobility options with the aim of promoting the use of electric vehicles, bicycles, and public transport, as well as reserved parking spaces for women and people with disabilities. 

The request

Collaboration with FS PARK was initiated to set up charging infrastructure at parking lots near railway stations.

The main objective was to provide convenient and accessible charging points at crucial multimodal nodes for thousands of citizens every day, thus promoting the use of electric vehicles and contributing to more sustainable mobility.

The solution

Thanks to the dynamic collaboration between Powy and FS PARK, state-of-the-art electric charging infrastructure has been installed in several Italian railway stations.

Among the most recent activations are the stations in Rho and Lodi, which offer charging for 12 electric vehicles, and those in Turin Porta Susa and Rapallo, with a capacity of 10 cars. With these new installations, by mid-2025 the Powy networkwill exceed 160 parking spaces equipped with Charging Stations over 16 Italian cities, including Conegliano, Domodossola, Empoli, Ferrara, Mogliano Veneto, Padua, Novara, Pisa, and Treviso.

The Porta Susa installation in Turin deserves special mention: here, a Fast charging station with direct current (50 kW) and eight Quick charging stations with alternating current (11 kW) have been activated. This range of chargers has been specifically designed for underground parking, integrating an additional lighting system and the convenience of an integrated charging cable, as well as the option of payment via a payment terminal (POS), with the aim of improving the end user experience.
