The Piazzagrande Shopping Center in Piove di Sacco (PD), managed by the Cushman & Wakefield group, was looking for a tailored solution to enhance its offerings and transform its spaces into true all-around service hubs, while maintaining a strong focus on sustainable mobility.
In a landscape where the electrification of transportation is advancing rapidly, the center’s management sought to anticipate emerging consumer needs and offer tangible added value. The primary goal was to create an integrated and easily accessible ecosystem right in the most frequented locations of daily life, introducing cutting-edge services designed to facilitate the public’s green habits.
The Solution
With Powy, Cushman & Wakefield has identified a reliable and well-established technology partner to manage the entire project, from the initial development stages through ongoing maintenance. A modern charging infrastructure has been installed in the parking lot of the Piazzagrande Shopping Center, consisting of two AC charging stations (AC) and two fast DC charging stations (DC).
This flexible setup allows users to charge their vehicles easily and in a way that’s tailored to their stay, managing the process conveniently—via app, card, QR code, or POS—while they shop. The entire service is powered by energy derived 100% from renewable sources, perfectly aligning with the facility’s commitment to sustainability.
