The Municipality
The municipality of Pinzolo, located at an altitude of approximately 780 meters in the heart of Val Rendena, is the administrative and cultural center of a region that combines the authentic character of a historic village with major Alpine tourist destinations. Within its borders lies part of Madonna di Campiglio, a resort located at 1,553 meters between the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello-Presanella massif, internationally recognized for its role of excellence in high-altitude tourism.
The need
To strengthen its role as a leading Alpine destination and tackle the challenges of ecological transition, the Municipality of Pinzolo has launched a strategic plan to decarbonize mobility and enhance smart services for residents and visitors.
The goal was to transform the accessibility of the area through an integrated mobility system capable of reducing private vehicle traffic and meeting the needs of tourists traveling by electric vehicle.
The project involved installing direct current charging stations in strategic locations, featuring a harmonious design consistent with the landscape of the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and spaces dedicated to well-being, designed to transform waiting times into valuable moments for people.
The solution
Through synergy between the municipal administration and private operators, the area has implemented a series of high-tech measures capable of effectively responding to the needs of sustainability and mobility flow management.
In this context, Powy installed two high-power direct current charging stations, for a total of four charging points: one in the center of Pinzolo, on Via Roma at the corner of Via Veneto, and one in Madonna di Campiglio, on Viale Dolomiti di Brenta. Both stations are powered 100% by renewable energy and equipped with advanced systems for detecting parking space occupancy and illegal parking.

In fact, the areas were identified with the aim of combining charging stations with recent installations designed to promote the physical and mental well-being of guests and residents, such as the calisthenics park on Viale Dolomiti in Campiglio.
