Cles, located in the heart of Trentino, is a municipality of about 7,000 inhabitants that has always been committed to environmental protection and sustainable development. In recent years, the municipal administration has launched several initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of its area, including the adoption of LED lighting systems, the promotion of public transportation, and the creation of bicycle paths.
The Need
A charging station for citizens and visitors
With the increasing popularity of electric vehicles, the Municipality of Cles felt theneed to equip its territory with adequate charging infrastructure. The goal was to offer citizens and visitors a convenient, accessible and state-of-the-art service, not neglecting the fundamental aspect of sustainability.
The solution
An ad hoc charging solution with 100% renewable energy
Once Powy received the municipality's instructions, we at Powy presenting our action plan to the municipal representatives, identifyingthe installation of two Charging Stations of different power ratings at two strategic points in the area as the best solution:
-VialeDe Gasperi (parking steps - 1st level): here we have installed a Quick type column, ideal for recharging your vehicle while stopping for shopping or other activities.
-Fair Square parking lot: at this location, citizens and visitors can instead enjoy a Fast-type charging station, perfect for those who need to charge their vehicles quickly.
This collaboration represents a virtuous model of public-private synergy, demonstrating that the transition to cleaner and more affordable electric mobility is possible and desirable, even away from large cities.
