TheF Charging, an innovative start-up provider of integrated electric vehicle charging services, is embarking on its selective journey to electrify Europe. After laying the foundations in Italy, where it has already reached 160 operational charging points in strategic locations in just a few months, founders Andrea Brentan (former CEO of Endesa, Enel Group) and Federico Fea (former Business Development EMEA of FCA and Chief Innovation Officer of Endesa) are now ready to take the network across the border: in fact, the company plans to expand its activities in selected locations in the European territory, with the aim of providing a unified user experience at the international level.

The path aims at the creation, by 2025, of a network of more than 10,000 strategic locations in Europe, corresponding to about 1 million potential parking spaces where innovative energy services for electric vehicles will be provided. Operation possible thanks to the experience of the management, which is working to sign, also in Europe, collaborations with first-rate partners, as it has already done with APCOA Italia, the Italian leader in parking spaces, part of the APCOA parking group, a European leader with about 2 million parking spaces, and Tigros, an important player of the large-scale retail sector in Northwest Italy. Added to this is the trust recognized both in the international financial sphere by the investment of the Luxembourg fund Akila Finance, selected by the founders following a process involving KPMG and Fieldfisher, and in the institutional sphere by the non-repayable financing received from Finpiemonte - co-financed with EU funds - in the context of the SC-UP call.

"From the very beginning, we set ourselves ambitious goals and in a short time we have built several infrastructures and created a significant pipeline of opportunities in advanced stages of negotiation, bringing tomorrow's goals closer." - comments Andrea Brentan, President of TheF Charging - "Given our decades of experience in the energy and e-mobility sector within major multinational Groups, having an international vision aimed at the entire European area is part of our DNA. We took a first step in this direction with the opening in early July of the Spanish legal entity TheF Charging España. Between now and the next four years we plan to enter additional European countries, including France, Germany and England, thus bringing Italian excellence abroad."

"We want to help increase the accessibility of sustainable mobility by focusing on the integration of vehicles with the electric system and microgrids, reducing the total cost of ownership of vehicles while fostering the expansion of an increasingly renewable energy system." - explains Federico Fea, CEO of TheF Charging - "With this in mind, we are selecting strategic locations across Europe where we complete each step to build the infrastructure, invest the necessary capital and deliver advanced energy services for electric vehicles, thus freeing facility operators from the rising costs and complexities of delivering quality services over time. In this way, we are able to generate value for the locations in our network, attracting quality clientele, with obvious benefits for our host entities: shopping centers, parking lots, sports clubs, etc."

TheF Charging is a technologically agnostic player, a choice matured to ensure the best solutions in both hardware and software over time, aimed at meeting the specific needs of each location, both in terms of users and facility owners, so as to make the most of the features and potential of individual locations.
